Spacefit UK have been delighted to work on the new M&S Food Store in Glasgow, Queen St Station for our client WH Smith. Once the team completed our Health & Safety setup, they began forming stud partitions, linings and bulkheads. Taping and jointing works were then carried out followed by decoration works completed to a high standard. We fitted new thermally insulated flooring throughout and distressed corrugated sheeting at high level around the mezzanine. The walls were tiled by our team followed by the installation of electrical and mechanical works which included installing the merchandise systems, a new fire alarm and HVAC. Chillers installation was completed along with security systems. Finally we installed illuminated signage along with high level local history graphics internally giving us a prestigious finish. All works were completed within 5 weeks ready to handover to the client who who was very happy with the results.
